Best Candle Sets

There’s nothing like the glow of a real candle for ambience. Many candle sets are infused with a pleasant scent, which is a great way to disguise household odors, or turn a room into a romantic retreat or spa. For a non-toxic, clean-burning candle, go for soy or vegetable wax that doesn’t contain paraffin. Beeswax is another good choice, although more expensive. High quality naturally-derived scents, like essential oils, are also the best bet. Wicks are usually cotton braid, and will burn in on themselves so they don’t need wicking — if not, trim them to a quarter of an inch to prevent soot. Keep candles away from drafts, which will cause the flame to jump and flicker, and always away from children, pets who may knock them over, and flammable objects... and never leave them unattended.
